BUSH collective
The BUSH collective was founded in 2015 to promote queer, feminist art. We sustain platforms for sharing stories, creating a safe space that encourages an open discussion and solidarity.
Members
Shir Hakim is a world resident, artist, creator, and lighting engineer. Graduated with a B.Ed. F.A. in film studies and education from Kibbutzim College. Shir Is an unschooling educator (never stops asking questions).

Noga Or Yam is an installation artist and independent curator, as well as an assistant curator and registrar at the Nahum Gutman Museum of Art and deputy curator at Artspace Tel Aviv gallery. She graduated with a B.Ed. F.A. in art and education and a certificate in curatorial studies from Kibbutzim College.

Chen Amram is an educator, wordsmith and community organizer. She is a content creator, group facilitator and activist, serving as the chairwoman of Megama for LGBTQ educators in Israel. Amram is a believer in stories. She graduated with an M.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Department of Jewish History and a certificate in school management and leadership (CSML) from Harvard University.
Hile (hila) Razon is a producer and artist. She works in extracurricular education and production, and a supervisor for facilitators at the TLV LGBTQ Center. Razon believes in the force of community organizing to bring about change in perspectives and in reality. The power is in our hands and social activism is the cure. She graduated with a B.Ed. in education from Tel-Hai College.

Yael Schechner
Director Of Curriculum And Instruction at Her Academy, a vocational school for women transitioning out of sex work and abuse. Holds a B.A. in History and Gender Studies from Tel Aviv University.

Shir Newman is a director and photographer, whose documentary movies (“Madre Tierra,” “How to Say Silence”) were featured in film festivals in Israel and abroad. She serves as the director for art and culture in the Neve Sha’anan neighborhood for the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality. Her responsibilities include artistic direction at the Pumphouse Gallery, and development of residency programs and artistic content at Hagra community center. Newman graduated with a B.Ed. F.A. in film studies and education from Kibbutzim College.

Faina Feigin is an artist and designer, specializing in animation, illustration and sculpture. Feigin facilitates curatorial processes for group exhibitions, and is founding member of Studio 88 for design and branding, alongside Omri Goldzak. She graduated with a B.Ed. F.A. in art and education from Kibbutzim College, and a certificate in visual communications design from the Holon Institute of Technology.

Michal Shomer is an artist and the designer of Multi-Gender Hebrew, a set of new Hebrew letters facilitating multi-gender reading and writing, with the goal of promoting equality. Shomer gives talks on Multi-Gender Hebrew and works on developing her project further. She graduated with a B.Design in visual communications design from the Holon Institute of Technology.
Tamar Talmon
Spoken word artist, translator and active musician in the hip-hop group Haringman Collective.
Retired early childhood educator, current CSM, mother of so and so plants.
